Good to know
Three days allow a balanced introduction to major sights, neighbourhoods and a lagoon outing. With one day, focus on the city; with five, explore at a slower pace.
Murano suits an interest in glass, Burano offers colour and lace, and Torcello brings early lagoon history. Choose two rather than rushing through a long list.
Walk for the detail and use waterbuses for longer connections and islands. Check the current route and ticket conditions before boarding.
