VISIT VENEZIA · EVENTS

PLAYERS. Games, Video Games, Culture and Society

At M9 - Museo del '900 in Venezia, this exhibition explores a century of history through video games and invites visitors to take part directly. Arcade cabinets, consoles and interactive stations trace social and cultural change, from university laboratories to current devices. Spread across three sections, it examines play spaces, video games as spectacle, and game creation. The permanent collection adds a pre-video game journey through twentieth-century toys.
