Peggy Guggenheim in London: Birth of a Collector

At the Peggy Guggenheim Collection, this exhibition explores Peggy Guggenheim's London years and her first gallery, Guggenheim Jeune, active from 1938 to 1939. It brings together key works shown in those pioneering exhibitions, alongside similar-period pieces by artists including Eileen Agar, Salvador Dalí, Barbara Hepworth, Vasily Kandinsky, Henry Moore, Piet Mondrian and Sophie Taeuber-Arp, plus archival materials. After Venice, it travels to London's Royal Academy of Arts, then to Guggenheim New York.
